{"id":62060,"date":"2023-11-06T14:45:23","date_gmt":"2023-11-06T19:45:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/healthcaredesignmagazine.com\/?p=62060"},"modified":"2024-01-11T17:28:44","modified_gmt":"2024-01-11T22:28:44","slug":"healthcare-design-announces-2023-nightingale-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/healthcaredesignmagazine.com\/news\/healthcare-design-announces-2023-nightingale-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"Healthcare Design Announces 2023 Nightingale Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Healthcare Design<\/em> magazine named the winners of the 2023 Nightingale Awards during an awards presentation at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hcdexpo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Healthcare Design Conference + Expo<\/a> in New Orleans, Nov. 4-7.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/healthcaredesignmagazine.com\/trends\/healthcare-design-products-making-an-impression\/?hilite=Nightingale\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Nightingale Awards<\/a>, in partnership with the Center for Health Design and the HCD Conference, recognize products related to the healthcare built environment.<\/p>\n<p>This year 55 products were reviewed\u2014a record number of entries for the annual awards program, which is named for Florence Nightingale, a tireless advocate for the improvement of care and conditions in military and civilian hospitals in the 1800s.<\/p>\n<p>The judging criteria for the awards is the product\u2019s contribution or solution for clinical or operational outcomes; aesthetics and innovation; built environment solution, durability, functionality, and quality; industry certifications and standards; environmental sustainability; and list price.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/brewercompany.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brewer Company<\/a> received the Nightingale Best of Competition Award for Versa Exam Table. The product also won the Gold Award in the Furniture: Clinician Support category.
