{"id":56936,"date":"2022-10-10T12:23:40","date_gmt":"2022-10-10T16:23:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/healthcaredesignmagazine.com\/?p=56936"},"modified":"2022-11-07T20:55:34","modified_gmt":"2022-11-08T01:55:34","slug":"hcd-conference-2022-nightingale-awards-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/healthcaredesignmagazine.com\/news\/hcd-conference-2022-nightingale-awards-announced\/","title":{"rendered":"HCD Conference: 2022 Nightingale Awards Announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Healthcare Design<\/em> magazine, in partnership with The Center for Health Design, announced the winners of the 2022 Nightingale Awards at the the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hcdexpo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Healthcare Design Conference + Expo<\/a>\u00a0in San Antonio.<\/p>\n<p>The annual\u00a0Nightingale\u00a0Awards, which recognizes products related to the healthcare built environment, are named for Florence\u00a0Nightingale, a tireless advocate for the improvement of care and conditions in military and civilian hospitals in the 1800s.<\/p>\n<p>Products are judged for \u00a0their contribution or solution for clinical or operational outcomes; aesthetics and innovation; built environment solution, durability, functionality, and quality; industry certifications and standards; environmental sustainability; and list price.<\/p>\n<p>This year, 19 products received awards in 13 categories, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zippsafe.com\/us_en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Zippsafe<\/a>\u2019s ZippSpace Pro named The Nightingale Best of Competition.<\/p>\n<p>This year, 14 jurors reviewed the 47 products entered in this year\u2019s Nightingale program. Jurors include Shannon Bambery, Senior Medical Planner, AECOM; Sandy Boyette, Principal, Levino Jones Medical Interiors; Ryan Daniels, Principal\/Design, BSA LifeStructures; Diana Davis,\u00a0 Managing Director, Perkins &amp;
