The grant will support a study titled, \u201cEvaluation of New Nebraska Community Hospital Facilities: Nurse Perspectives and Patient Outcomes in Centralized vs. Decentralized Nursing Units.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A tribute to Florence Nightingale, whose \u201cHealth of Houses\u201d represented an early and groundbreaking ecological model of health, NIHD\u2019s Lady with the Lamp Research Grant honors Nightingale\u2019s work on the impact of the built environment on patient outcomes.
